Lil' Kim

Lil' Kim, a senior Pomeranian, arrived as a stray at the Maui Humane Society in Hawaii with a mouthful of missing, broken, and loose teeth. Luckily, her tarnished smile didn't deter the team from saving this precious pup.

Lil' Kim's tiny mouth had seen better days. She was missing all but two top incisors, had a broken bottom right canine with root exposure, and all her remaining teeth were loose. Thanks to you, a Grey Muzzle dental grant made it possible for Lil' Kim to get the dental care she had gone without for so long.

Daisy

Daisy, a 14-year-old chihuahua mix, was found as a stray, rescued, and shared on Facebook.  Julie saw the post and agreed to take Daisy to help find her family. She contacted JHS and utilized the Home Stray Hold program. This innovative program allows “finders” to keep stray dogs in their homes and out of shelters while searching for their owners. For senior dogs like Daisy, the program can be a lifesaver.

Chunky Brown

Chunky Brown’s family was terribly worried about his swollen front paw and hair loss on his belly, but they were struggling financially and simply couldn’t afford care at their local animal clinic. Thankfully, United Coalition for Animals (UCAN) was there to help.

Strawbe

Frances called the Kentucky Humane Society’s Pet Help Line in a panic. She, her spouse and their 11-year-old Chihuahua, Strawbe, had lost their home. The family was homeless. Thanks to a grant from Grey Muzzle, KHS was able to help Frances avoid surrendering Strawbe to animal shelter with temporary boarding at a local pet resort.
