Bitz

Bitz, a 15-year-old Shih-Tzu, was in dire need of surgery to save his life. Sadly, the veterinarian where he lived in rural Virginia didn’t have the resources to help him. And his mom couldn’t afford a specialty clinic. Thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant, ACAP was there to help.

Slugger

Slugger ended up at a local city shelter after being found limping, and clearly in pain from what turned out to be a dislocated hip. A note from the shelter veterinarian said, "The surgery to fix this condition is beyond what we can provide.” Thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, Muttville was able to help.

Holly

Sadly, the pandemic took a financial toll on Holly’s family. As much as they loved her, they asked Mostly Mutts to help find her a new home. Holly’s personality quickly made her a favorite among Mostly Mutts’ volunteers. She was in great health, but needed a dental cleaning before she could be ready for adoption.

Spike

Spike is a 10-year-old beagle mix who is sweet with every person he meets. His human dad had to move into assisted living, and Spike needed some dental work before he could find a new home. Thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, FFOCAS got Spike the care he needed to make him more comfortable and get him ready to meet to potential adopters.
