Meet the Dogs

Valerie

Valerie came to Richmond Animal League (RAL) from a partnering animal control agency last year. Her human had passed away and there was no-one to care for her.Other than having arthritis and being overweight, this nine-year-old was in good health. The RAL veterinary team prescribed her low-stress exercise and a special diet.

Leah

Leah came to Saving Paws Rescue AZ (SPRAZ) from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. This nine-year-old German Shepherd was not well cared for--it was obvious she had been used for breeding all her life.

CiCi

Sweet little CiCi was surrendered to a local shelter in Michigan when her owner went into hospice care and there were no family members able to take her in. As with so many little dogs, this eight-year-old Chi mix had bad teeth and desperately needed a dental.

Goldie

Goldie is a wonderful and loving ten-year-old Coonhound mix who ended up in a rural shelter in southern Ohio. She was so good and so quiet that those who ran the shelter seemed to forget she was there.
