Ms. Lois reached out to Knox PAWS in January of 2018 after her doctor suggested having an animal companion to help with her depression and loneliness. 

Mugsy

Mugsy came to Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI) after being abandoned by his family. Mugsy was not only a staff and volunteer favorite, but a grandpa and friend to so many other RBARI dogs. 

Buddy

Buddy, a 12-year-old Schnauzer found himself at Norfolk Animal Care Center (NACC) because his owner could no longer afford to care for him, and couldn't provide in depth veterinary care. 

Swanno

William and Lucy are a senior couple who are both disabled and on a fixed income. Recently, they moved to a new pet-friendly apartment with their senior Chihuahua, Swanno.
