P-nut

P-Nut was surrendered to a vet’s office for euthanasia because β€œhe was old.” Thankfully, a foster parent for Carolina Poodle Rescue stepped up to help. P-Nut was in terrible shape after a years of neglect. His fur was so severely matted that you could barely see the outline of his little body. He was quiet – almost defeated – during the car ride home from the vet, and yet, in his cloudy, aged eyes, there was hope.

Todd

At 11 years old, Todd the beagle was left in an overnight drop pen, constantly coughing without relief due to an advanced case of heartworm disease. Despite feeling pretty crummy, Todd still had a sweet, trusting smile on his face, knowing he was in good hands.

Domain

At 14 years old, Domain was found living outside, very emaciated and sick. To make matters worse, he was attacked by a bigger dog and ended up with a badly broken jaw. A good Samaritan wanted to provide Domain with a better situation in his golden years and offered to adopt and care for him. However, his long-overdue and urgent medical care was going to be quite expensive.

Annabel

KodiakCare provides the incredible service of helping owners afford critical care for their pets.
