Teeny tiny Bug was hit by a car as a stray and brought into animal control. One Tail at a Time took her in and provided her with all of her needed medical care, thanks to their Grey Muzzle grant.Bug recouped in foster care for many weeks before being healthy enough for adoption.

Lilly's owners brought her to Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) because she wasn't acting like herself. She was lethargic and would not eat or drink. After several tests, the JHS veterinary team diagnosed Lilly with Addison's disease, a life-threatening condition for dogs when not caught in time.

Sprite and his mom Linda got much-needed support from the Colorado State University Pets Forever program, thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant. At 14, Sprite has been a steadfast friend and partner for Linda, who jokes that they are navigating retirement together.

Swiss Miss, a shih tzu mix, came to Muttville Senior Dog rescue from a nearby shelter where she ended up after being found as a stray. This happy and easy-going senior dog had mobility issues and pain caused by badly matted, dirty fur and could not see because her eyes were crusted shut.
