Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown, a sweet, nine-year-old hound mix, came to our grantee Pawmetto Lifeline in South Carolina because his owner could no longer care for him. He had been kept as a strictly outdoor dog and, sadly, tested positive for heartworm disease.

After being found as a stray and bouncing in and out of a local shelter, nine-year-old Helga was transferred to  the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

Milton and his wiggly butt had been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for two whole months. A ten-year-old pittie with a heart murmur, Milton quickly became a volunteer favorite at the shelter and had many wonderful pals rooting for his rescue.

Harley came into the care of Nevada Humane Society (NHS) as a rescue from the local shelter, Washoe County Regional Animal Services. He is a sweet, 13-year-old Terrier mix who was diagnosed as having Stage 4 dental disease by the NHS medical team.
