Humane Society of Scott CountyFunded in 2023
Founded in 1902, the Humane Society of Scott County, Iowa, has grown to become the largest animal shelter in the Quad Cities Area. HSSC serves over 2,500 animals with a mission to help animals in need by providing shelter, adoption services, and support resources for the Scott County community with care and compassion.
The Grey Muzzle Organization's support will enable the Humane Society of Scott County (HSSC) to monitor and improve the health of senior dogs, preparing them for adoption into loving new homes. The grant will help HSSC provide more comprehensive medical care for senior dogs like Blueberry Parfait. Funds will cover routine bloodwork for seniors and offset the cost of dental and other medical procedures as needed.
