Tinkerbell
Eight-year-old Tinkerbell arrived at the Sacramento SPCA this past summer with several inoperable masses in her chest. Fortunately, Sacramento SPCA’s Pawspice program will ensure Tinkerbell has the care she needs to keep her comfortable. The program, supported by a grant from Grey Muzzle, covers the cost of palliative care for animals who have terminal diagnoses but good quality of life. By covering the expensive medical care and medication, Sacramento SPCA removes the financial stress that comes with adopting hospice seniors, making them easier to place in new homes. Despite her diagnosis, Tinkerbell is a delightful girl. After two months in the Sacramento SPCA’s care, she found her forever family. This Christmas, she’ll be celebrating by doing all her favorite things, like giving kisses, taking naps on a comfy bed, and carrying toys from Santa around her new home!
