Snoopy10 YRS
Meet Snoopy! This 10-year-old Silky Terrier weighs 12 lbs. Snoopy is a kissy pup who is on the search for a human who will love him just as much as he loves them.
General Behavior: Snoopy is such a happy boy filled with so much love! As soon as you enter the room, he will dash to you in pure glee. While he does take some time to feel comfortable in new environments, once he is, he is easy-going and content snuggling with his human, and then returning to his comfy bed for a nap.
Likes & Dislikes: Aside from quality snuggles, Snoopy loves to give kisses, especially as a “Thank You” for being given a yummy treat. He enjoys lounging around on the couch or in his bed before zooming to the kitchen for mealtime. Snoopy does not like to be left home alone, especially while he is getting comfortable with his environment.
Training: Silly Snoopy is a good boy! He has great basic manners and walks well on a leash. Once settled, he does well with his housetraining when let out frequently and on a schedule. At night, Snoopy sleeps soundly in his dog bed until morning.
Medical: While Snoopy doesn’t have any teeth, he is a healthy guy! He gobbles up his soft food like a champ. He does require his monthly heartworm and flea prevention like any other pooch.
Other Animals: Snoopy interacts well with other dogs but prefers his human over them. He ignores his kittie foster siblings and wouldn’t mind a home with cats.
Children: Snoopy has not been introduced to any children but given his laid-back and gentle demeanor, we think he would do just fine in a home with them.
Home: This handsome boy will require a single-family home without directly connected neighbors. Snoopy has a loud bark and when he’s trying to tell his humans something (He’s hungry, not wanting to be left home alone, wants to go outside, etc.), he can be quite loud, and we wouldn’t want him bothering the neighbors.
Grooming: As a Silky Terrier, Snoopy will require a trip to the groomer every 8 weeks or so to keep him looking spiffy. The cost of grooming for a pup of his breed and size is approximately $65+, and any potential applicants should be aware of this recurring expense.
Overall: Snoopy is a goofy guy with absolutely so much love in his tiny heart. He is sure to bring happiness and joy to his forever family.
