Sometimes a dog comes in that we just KNOW has a family. We cross all our fingers (and toes) that someone will come in to redeem them, and that we will happily get to reunite a pet and their owner. Of course, we wish that for ALL our stray pets. But dogs like Milo really break our heart.
We are guessing Milo is about 10 years old. He is visually impaired, maybe even blind. He bumps into things around the shelter and you can tell he's trying his best but he's a little confused. He was found by himself in Bellemont and was never redeemed so we had to make him adoptable. Now, we are just hoping so hard that he doesn't have to stay in the shelter very long. Milo needs someone to open their heart to him. To spend his golden years in a safe & loving environment. Someone who will guide him through the loss of his eyesight and comfort him when he doesn't quite know what's happening around him or where he's going.
We have already taken care of his bloodwork and dental surgery, he got a clean bill of health from our Veterinarian. He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He does great with other dogs and is pretty indifferent. Potty trained. Quiet, friendly, and easy going. He just loves to be outdoors or with you wherever you are.
PLEASE come meet Milo. His adoption fee is only $50 and he is in the front lobby of our shelter, waiting to meet his new family and crash on a comfy dog bed.
