Dexter is a smooth, steady, rock-solid adorable guy. He's all about meandering walks with plenty of stops to smell and investigate. His pace is pretty glacial, and this is a guy who does not sweat the small stuff and prefers not to work up a sweat, period. So, if rushing and stressing and making to-do lists are your jam, this is probably not the dude for you, as Dexter hurries and hustles for no one.

Dexter enjoys meeting new people and likes, but never demands attention. In short, Dexter is the coolest dog. Dexter has not been tried one-on-one with other dogs at the shelter, but he's given us a couple of hints he would prefer to be your one-and-only.

He would be an amazing companion for someone who enjoys kicking back and shooting the breeze on the weekends. He's up for adventure but is more or a glamper than a puptent live-off-the-land kind of guy.
