Millie Maple

You’d never know it to look at her shining coat today, but sweet senior Millie Maple arrived at St. Louis Senior Dog Project (STLSDP) with mange. She also had heartworm, and if that weren’t enough, the poor girl had a broken leg, too.

Thanks to a grant from Grey Muzzle and the good care of SLSDP, Millie was treated, her leg healed and she is heartworm-free. Today, you’ll find her frolicking in her “foster failure” mom’s yard, where Millie Maple has found her forever home.
