    How Grey Muzzle Helped
Medical expense grant for adoptable dogs

Cinder is a slim little dog, about 8-10 years old, who might be a miniature pinscher/chihuahua/you-name-it mix. She was picked up as a stray in St. Louis County. After no one came to claim her, the shelter vet called to see if St. Louis Senior Dog Project could take her. She came to her foster home with kennel cough and urinary tract infection. Since coming to the Senior Dog Project, she's put on a little weight and her ribs don't show now. She's had her teeth cleaned and a few pulled. After two weeks, she was finally healthy enough for her first adoption event. For an old gal, she's very nimble and loves to run. She's also an affectionate lapdog and a great kisser. Her rescuers think she'll find a home soon. Grey Muzzle paid Cinder's veterinary expenses to get her ready for a new home.

Cinder is adopted! The Senior Dog project reports, "Good news, Cinder was adopted this weekend to a young couple who think she's plenty youthful. They all seem happy, especially Cinder."
