Krista Kurvers is an instructor with Code 3 Associates, an organization dedicated to providing aid and resources to animals in times of crisis. For more than a decade, she has trained animal welfare professionals, law enforcement officers, and first responders. She actively participates in emergency response efforts involving natural and man-made disasters. Her work includes evacuations and rescues related to fires, floods, mudslides, and tornadoes.
As a CCPDT-certified professional dog trainer and behaviorist, Krista has been training dogs since 1996. She owns Encompass Canines, LLC, which offers customized dog training, obstacle coaching, AKC certificate evaluations, behavior assessments, and supervised playground time. Through these services, she fosters a fun and rewarding human-dog relationship. In 2022, Krista became a certified Pet CPR and First Aid Instructor, aiming to equip more people with essential knowledge and skills for handling emergencies involving their pets.
